The bill (Reg. No.10649), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, supplements article 63 of the Law "On Pension Provision of Persons Dismissed from Military Service and Some Other Persons" with a new part under which the Cabinet of Ministers can take decisions to conduct additional recalculation of pension to "prevent differences in the amount of pensions depending on the year of their award and proceeding from financial possibilities of the state budget."
Members of the Committee noted that the legislative proposal deserved support. Nevertheless, people?s deputies drew attention to the fact that the suggested method needs correcting.
Having considered the conclusions by the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat, the Committee resolved to recommend that the bill should be recommitted.
